Appointments include an assessment of medical history, lab review, lifestyle, nutrition, stress, and environmental factors. Treatment plans are individualized and may include nutrition and evidence-informed supplements, and functional or preventative testing.

Melanie MacIver is a naturopathic doctor and local herbalist, mother, and outdoor enthusiast.  She is an advocate for women’s health, and is passionate about helping women live their best lives. Dr MacIver supports women in all phases of life, and has a clinical focus in menopause and perimenopause care. She also treats anything related to hormones, including weight loss resistance, endometriosis, PCOS, and Hashimoto’s. She has done extensive research on the thyroid gland, and has many treatment options beyond the conventional approach. She has additional training in mold illness, which is a common cause of immune dysfunction and inflammation in the Pacific Northwest. Dr MacIver has created her women’s health intensive programs, which include a thorough, comprehensive lab assessment. Expect to gain an understanding of what is happening in your body, and an effective, researched based treatment plan. Her individualized programs use nutrition, herbs, detoxification, immunotherapy, and other therapies to restore the body. Dr. MacIver is a graduate of the Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine (2005), and is additionally trained in bio-identical hormones, IV therapy, and the RightSleep program. Dr MacIver completed her low dose immunotherapy training (LDA/LDI) in 2013, and uses it to treat all types of allergies, infections, and autoimmune disease.  Dr MacIver is a guest lecturer at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine.
